Not in my experience.
And never get any other work done at F1, they are a complete rip off.0 -
I used Halfords Autocentre in Sutton. They were notable cheaper than anywhere else and did a good job. Just had to adjust tyre pressures afterwards, but this seems to be common for every garage to get wrong.0

Unfortunately Nationwide Autocentre have changed name having been bought-out by the Halfords group. They should have kept their original name as the Halfords brand is and always will be tarred with having Amateur Cowboys as so called mechanics.
Speak as you find, Autocentre have always provided me with an excellent service at reasonable cost and see no reason to change.0 -
You can buy online and get fitting at local centres - don't know whats in your area. I have used Best Buy Tyres (fitted by Dexel); Tyreshopper (fitted at National) and more recently for Continentals via First Stop - their price was pretty good but I've used Tyreshopper quite a few times in the past.0

The price you have got quoted there seems very good from what I can find, if you want Continentals.0
