According to the md of the now defunct company, they had to offer an insurance backed policy from about five years ago bur mine are 7 years old so I wasn't offered it. Hopefully the CC company will come up trumps!

So you took the advice of some scroat who failed in their own business?

Atidi, I find this comment you make about the MD of John Williams very odd! I doubt you even know the MD of John Williams. Are you even familiar with the company and it's success over the last 40 years?

I find your statement very distasteful, that company generated over 150 jobs and produced very high quality windows, doors and conservatories. Back in the hay day those boys made a lot of money. Hardly a failure! I would like to see you try and run a business like it!

    It went bust.

Therefore, by definition, it would be hard to do a worse job.

No I am not Mr Williams but I know the family very well and I can tell you that the previous comments are factually incorrect! I created an account in defense of the company as I disagree with the comments!

Why were you even LOOKING for any comments about them? It's not as if you could randomly come across this thread. ;)

Calling Mr Williams a "Scroat" is incorrect! He's actually a very nice and well respected gentleman.

No, please enlighten me on their other incarnations!
