I think that's a good idea. I don't think the person who started the challenge has posted since early in the year. I hope they are ok

mrCrimeFiction think its a great idea that you want to lead us again in the absence of the OP. I for one will definitely be in!
    - can we keep our current numbers?

I had decided to continue with this idea as I am now well into the swing of it and can't wait for the end to have all of that lovely money :j
I had already decided to complete a virtual one into my ISA at the beginning of the month for only if the roof falls in etc proper emergency monies and a put a £ in a pot for something as treats for me ;)
    - there is nothing more satisfying that hearing it drop - from the first few echoing sounds to the now I can hardly lift it or hear it drop :j

Mine is definitely going towards a N*xt snuggle chair and I would not have saved the money for it without the original idea or the thread! It would have gone on the credit card or my account card never to be ever really paid off and costing me a small fortune but this way it is paid for and will be ever so more comfortable for it. :A

Anyway back to the potting news I have now potted upto the end of the month so just need to add it to my total/sig
Hello all - I'm still here too and would be happy if MrCrimeFiction would look after us all next year - I'm still on track with my £'s - currently at 316 so slightly ahead, AND I've already bought my tin for next year.

Thanks everyone. It really means a lot. I've learned so much from this website I'm just trying to find excuses to be on it more and more as it gets me focused for my debt busting and savings plan.

I have a recommendation though. Instead of January to January, shall we do December 1st 2014 - December 1st 2015. This way it can pay for Xmas next year without thinking about it. We will probably get more "players" if it involved a thread / challenge for Xmas as well.

I've just noticed that there is a sealed pot challenge thing on here're somewhere. This is sort of the same and from what it looks like, they have been doing that for ages as there on challenge number 8.

At least if we do it for Xmas, it's a bit different and a pound a day is unique.

Any thoughts from the existing members? :rotfl:

Let me know ASAP as il have to start the thread soon for the start of December! Also appreciate not many people have spare ££ in December, but I'm sure it could be made up in January etc.

  • I think this seems a good idea to run from Dec instead of Jan
  • No probs for me either way :D

I also do sealed pot challenge for Xmas - this year was my first like with this challenge but again I am determined that I will also do this one again as well - I'm so excited for our opening day which this year is 27th Nov :j:j

I need to get out and get myself a tin - before all the potters beat me and I can't find one ;)
