  • November's money in, plus December's in advance, so I am free to open the box up whenever I want. I am going to clear my mortgage with it at the end of the month. The house deeds in my little paw will be a Christmas present! :)

I'm still on track and adding a £ daily, not been posting as the thread has been so quiet. Well done everyone.

  • Hello everyone. I just looked at this thread for the first time. I was going to join, but it looks like this is ending soon.

I've read through the whole thread and it looks like the creator ALM hasn't been about for a while. Would anyone mind if I set up the same sort of challenge from December 14- December 2015 in order to save for Xmas.

Exact same idea, but I wouldn't go wanders after a few months.

    Let me know your feedback?

I think that's a good idea. I don't think the person who started the challenge has posted since early in the year. I hope they are ok

mrCrimeFiction think its a great idea that you want to lead us again in the absence of the OP. I for one will definitely be in!
    - can we keep our current numbers?

I had decided to continue with this idea as I am now well into the swing of it and can't wait for the end to have all of that lovely money :j
I had already decided to complete a virtual one into my ISA at the beginning of the month for only if the roof falls in etc proper emergency monies and a put a £ in a pot for something as treats for me ;)
    - there is nothing more satisfying that hearing it drop - from the first few echoing sounds to the now I can hardly lift it or hear it drop :j

Mine is definitely going towards a N*xt snuggle chair and I would not have saved the money for it without the original idea or the thread! It would have gone on the credit card or my account card never to be ever really paid off and costing me a small fortune but this way it is paid for and will be ever so more comfortable for it. :A

Anyway back to the potting news I have now potted upto the end of the month so just need to add it to my total/sig

Hello all - I'm still here too and would be happy if MrCrimeFiction would look after us all next year - I'm still on track with my £'s - currently at 316 so slightly ahead, AND I've already bought my tin for next year.
