Another £1 in my tin - total 15/365

I also save all my other change but things have been so tight after Christmas that so far I have £45 put away but hoping that is going to change for the better over the next few weeks;)

I think that I will go through it as I go and add up the amounts for each month to help me with my running total for posting:T

Glad to hear your back online ALM 2013:D

Welcome :hello: all newbies and good luck with the challenge :T:T

It's do easy for me doing it online, I just simply log on every time I wake up and to start the day off with a smile, simply transfer over a £ into the ISA. I had a SO set up but it didn't work

A massive £90 potted :D to take me through Jan, Feb and March.

Wow, well done to you mate, you can relax for like the next 10 weeks. :T
I'm actually not going to take part in this.. I was number 51 if you'd like to take me off there.
This is simply because I find it more effective to use any change I have to buy things during the day such as lunch at work. It limits me to what I can buy & stops me getting the card out which is what I would do by putting change away to save!
12 days in to 2014 & I'm going great on the savings front so good luck to you all with this challenge and may see some of you over on the saving in 2014 thread :)

Absolutely no problem, we all wish you luck on the savings front. If you decide you want to come back, I'm sure there will always be a number for you.
@ALM2013 if candyandstripes is not going to do it can I have their no. 051 instead of no.113 and put me down for jan as £31/365.

Its just any number with 13 brings me bad luck.

No problem, that's it sorted and I've updated your total. :j
    Hi

I'd like to join this please. I've set up a weekly SO of £7 to my savings account and just sent £7 directly in so am up to date. :money:

    thanks for the idea

I've signed you up as number 113, just incase you don't see yourself on the list. Well done for joining :D
Another pound clunked into the pot today so on track at £26 in total.
For me, I am going to try and keep it as a daily contribution. DH tends to throw £5 in at a time to keep ahead of the game so to speak. At the end of each month will deposit the cash into a savings account.
It is inspiring seeing everyones posts - no matter how we are going about it we are all saving!! How good is that? :T

Il be honest. If it wasn't for this website in particular, I would have nothing. I found it at the right time, and all these little challenges help me so much. I love reading the updates.

Today's £1 in the piggy taking me to £15 :T

Think I'll change tack in Feb and pot £28 at the start of the month...I'll keep plodding away at £1 a day for the rest of January though.

Thank you so much for the thread :)

To the tune of another one bites the dust............duh duh duh duh duh another pound hits the pot!

Both me and DH paid up for today and tomorrow, so £32 total. :D
  • Just a quick update for me total is now up to £30/£365

I somehow have managed to still have money sitting in my bank account, untouched and everything:eek: it worries me when this happens as it's likely I've forgotten something. Either that or my LO is kicking me into becoming a sensible mother:rotfl:
