    MY INTERNET IS FIXED!

Hopefully that is it all sorted, it was a complete nightmare not having my iPad working

So hopefully I can spend more time on here, depending on how busy I am a work. ;)

My own money saving is going good so far, but my holiday at the end of next month will drain some £££ :rotfl:

Hope everyone is well and not too chubby after Xmas

I'm away this weekend but got ahead by putting some £1's in my tin before leaving home, so am uptodate. At the moment its easy to keep track of the amount as we are only in January and I've done my £1 for the day but as the months go on it gets a bit more complicated. I think I will have to write all the numbers in my diary- as it is I tick the date when I have done my £ - so that I can keep a track of ie what number (amount) 3rd June is if you know what I mean.
    I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!
  • I'm thinking the same, AlwaysHappy, that it's going to be hard to remember what's in the tin. I will not putting a single pound in everyday, but more erratic as-and-when amounts. I still will run a vague tally in my head though.

So I don't think I will update till the end of the year, when I hope I will have hit the target, but am still doing the challenge and reading this thread :)

I too thought that its easy at the start to keep a tally but will more difficult later on.
Luckily though I got a really small pocket diary for Christmas and have been ticking the dates as I put my pound in to help me keep a tally as to wether I have put in the money or not (you wouldn't think it could be that hard to remember if you put a £1 in your pot or not would you....lol:rotfl:)
Already I have needed to check to see if I have or not......

I think that I will go through it as I go and add up the amounts for each month to help me with my running total for posting:T

Glad to hear your back online ALM 2013:D

  • I have £5.94 in my piggy bank, but I won't add it to my totals yet -
I'd rather update when It's in my savings account. Also, at the end of this month I hope to put £31 in for January.

I just thought it has been a while since I have posted - just wanted to keep up to date with everything.
