Help! Unfair charges on my tmobile bill

Hi all,
Can someone please help me? I have seen these charges on my T-mobile bill but the trouble is I never dialled them.

date day time number place called call length
hr:min:sec cost
12 Nov Tue 08:41 Speaking Clock 0:07 0.340
12 Nov Tue 08:42 Speaking Clock 0:05 0.340
12 Nov Tue 16:07 Speaking Clock 0:03 0.340
15 Nov Fri 13:20 Directory Enquiry 0:16 3.404
15 Nov Fri 13:20 Directory Enquiry 0:42 2.483

I became aware on my november bill that speaking clock was included but because i picked it up late did not say anything about it but rather decided to monitor my december bill. All these charges I did not dial. When I rang t-mobile their response is well it was dialled from your phone so you have to pay . How can I fight these unfair charges please. I am on benefits so I do not have money to waste on phone bills especially when i did not dial them. If someone could help me I will be very grateful if you can tell me how to proceed.

What phone do you have? If it's a smart phone you may have unwitingly downloaded an App that is dialing the number inthe background.

Asl do you know the number that was dialed, is it possible that it's something stored in the memory incorrectly and so being dialed by mistake?

  • its a blackberry curve. But those calls where definitely not made. I have been monitoring my phone what shocked me as well is the 118118 calls of which I have no need.

Do not know what to do.

First thing is to work out if the calls were made or not, some thoughts...

Has anyone else had access to the phone?
Do you lock the keypad when not in use?
Have you checked your phones call log?
Have you loaded any new Apps lately?
