Evening all,
Feeling a bit 'hmmm' at the moment, don't know how else to describe it. Had the meeting with head of 6th form, although it went quite well IMO, DS2 is miffed because he can't drop one of his subjects, the one that he got put on after they told him he couldn't have his first choice, because if he does he won't be allowed to stay on next year and make the others into full A levels! To say he isn't happy is an understatement. I do feel for him on the one hand but have told him this is how life is, you don't always get what you want and you have to tolerate some things.
Anyway its our work Christmas dinner tomorrow afternoon and I'm looking forward to itWe have chosen to try Dobbies this year as the pub we usually use is in the process of changing owners and the food isn't so good at the mo.

Just want him to be happy down here but think it's going to be a long bumpy road.
Oh bless him, I am so sorry to hear he is unhappy, I really hope things start to improve for him soon xx0 -
Redruby – Glad your daughter had a good time in London, think you just have to be in the right frame of mind for it. Went to Winter Wonderland a couple of years ago and though I thought it was good, found it very expensive at the same time. Bah humbug, aren't I?! Haha. Took my oldest daughter and think she might have been a little young for it at the time.
Didn't do much in the way of OS today as was at work, but am off tomorrow and actually going to try and sort through the clothes I have scattered around the bedroom. Usually I tend to escape to a friend's for coffee on my mornings off, but not tomorrow, so once the girls are at school, will come home and actually do something. Although youngest is only at preschool for 3 hours, so half the time I can't be bothered to start anything as by the time I get into it, I'm having to go and get her again! Think this is just my excuse though, think it's all just got on top of me really and half the time I think, what's the point? Cos as soon as I tidy up anything, the girls just mess it up again!
Have lots to get ready for tomorrow, yet am on here (again!). Oldest has own clothes day as long as we bring something in for the Christmas tombola, and she couldn't decide what she wanted to wear before bed, so no doubt that will be a battle in the morning. Also have to have her Christmas play outfit in tomorrow and I said I would bring mince pies in for after the show. Good old mum who looks after girls has put her outfit, the mince pies and a bottle of plonk on the front seat in my car so I don't forget! Yay! Knowing me, I'll put daughter in her school uniform as I'll forget she's supposed to wearing her own clothes!
Dinner for us was spaghetti bolognese which was scrum as always, but think my mum is running out of things to cook for the girls as they are pretty fussy and spag bol always goes down good. Froze a pot of it, so they can have that again one day next week while we have something else.
Mentioned it a million times already, but it's gammon in cola in the slow cooker tomorrow. Got the gammon, just have to buy the coke and an onion once I've dropped the girls off at school tomorrow.Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010
