Bag Wrapping at Manchester Airport

Does anyone know whether there are any companies that will wrap my bag at Manchester Airport in clingfilm? Travelling via OR Tambo JHB & don't want my stuff stolen especially as I'm taking gifts to my family who I haven't seen in 2 years!

Thanks

A Google search gave this result:

    http://www.bagwrap.com/

The only effective way to avoid theft though is to avoid valuables in your checked luggage.

Thanks for this I'm not putting anything valuable in my case - the most expensive will be a bottle of perfume however the staff at OR Tambo don't really care whether the items are valuable or not they will take it if they fancy it & it will be really hard to replace stuff bought here there!

Yes there is definitely one at Manchester, saw it a couple of weeks ago. We went from Terminal 1, I thought it was £7 per bag but could be wrong.

Buy a large roll of clingfilm in poundland, wrap your case at home or just before check-in.........it's not rocket science is it?

Domestic Clingfilm really isn't up to the job, you need pallet wrap

You can get it on eBay for a fiver or so - if you can be bothered
Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.

Agreed - clingfilm would be destroyed in seconds. Pallet wrap would be what I need & for the effort of getting it done correctly I'd rather pay £10 for someone else to do it than mess about myself & have a half done job!

I've done it with domestic cling film and gaffer tape myself. Does the job, it will last the one flights if you use decent tape (several trips to SA worth of experience!)
Another alternative is to simply use a couple of cable ties through the zips (in fact a Kulula checkin agent did this to my bags themselves at Lanseria recently).

Domestic cling film worked for me.
