Carphone Warehouse deal too good to believe?
Hi
I'm looking at a 24month contract for an Xperia M which is free on an £11.99 contract.
The tariff (with Orange) says 500 minutes "any network". Some people have been telling me this is a trick and I will only have 500 minutes to call Orange phones.
I have looked at other Xperia M deals e.g. Tesco and they are more £15 per month but only 250 minutes.
So I find the 500 minutes a bit difficult to believe. Can anyone advise if this is genuine and would include all UK local/mobile numbers or am I missing something in the small print?
Thanks
Guy

Do you mean upgrade?
If so, this is genuine, but beware of a small data allowance that you have to be very cautious with.
Don't forget TCB/Quidco0 -
Thanks - it is not an upgrade but the data is just 250mb - I guess that is where they will try and get me!0

It is upgrade - unless you post a link proving that it isn't.0

It wont let me post links as new user but just on the carphone warehouse site under pay monthly for Xperia M0

Odd in what way,? Odd that you can't read what's in front of you? Odd that once again you're having a moan whilst you're wrong?
If that is the link you were looking at when you demand links or the op is wrong, then the tariff that the op was looking at was on that page you linked to...
Yes, very odd, I agree...0 -
It's a nice price. But 250mb data and orange do not go well together.
One wrong step and you'll be paying through the nose in data charges.
Have a look at tesco who allow you to cap your account, or consider a better deal that provides more data (recommend 500mb minimum with a smartphone).
Or why not consider buying a phone out right and then getting a monthly SIM only package?0 -

And when was the last time when I was wrong?
Yes, I didn't notice "VIEW ALL TARIFFS" button and as a result "in front of me" I saw only:- 100 minutes for £11.99 in "Pay monthly" tab (T-mobile) or 30 minutes for £10.50 on Orange.
- 500 minutes for £11.99 in "Upgrades" tab (Orange).
Is what you see in front of you different?
The OP wanted 500 on Orange for £11.99 for new customers, not upgrading.
Unlike you I did post some useful information in this thread. All your posts I see remind me primitive trolling/stalking.0
