    whats on your Equifax file
    Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.
  • I haven't used Equifax or any of them yet I read the reviews online about Equifax and was put off.

    Pay £2 and get a copy of your report from Equifax and Experian. £2 to each. Don't sign up for any free trials and don't consider any credit score or rating from either - just see what they have on you and if it is all accurate.
  • ok but don't see the £2 option on Equifax and I am not signing up for anything either I only want to see what the error is and get it corrected never ever missed a payment been late with one either.

  • We regret having to decline any customer’s application for credit but we set our minimum acceptance score based on expert advice and our knowledge of previously accepted accounts. When a new application for credit is completed by the customer the application is assessed by allocating each piece of information on the application a relevant score.

    There are four main reasons why your application may have failed which are as follows;

    1. Information provided by a credit reference agency or
    2. You may not have passed Creation’s internal credit score or
    3. There may be a specific internal lending rules that we apply or
    4. Key fields in your application may not have been completed or are inconsistent.

    Our decision not to provide credit facilities at this time may be due to one or more of the reasons listed above.

    On this occasion, the main reason for decline was due to internal lending rules that we apply.

    Unfortunately, company policy does restrict me from informing you of the breakdown of this scorecard. I can however tell you that we do consult credit reference agencies in order to assist with the credit scoring process.

  • got that back from creation finance.
