When going through security at any UK airport, you are only allowed one clear plastic bag per person.
You might get a security agent who allows you through with more than one bag, but don't count on it.

Hmm, yes I always thought it was just the one. Think I'll stick to that to be on the safe side, might take an empty too and ask them at security.
