Advice! Someone crashed into my parked car

So an update...
Insurance company has accepted fault in the claim due to their own incompetence in not dealing with the case properly or timely. They can't get anything from the 3rd party insurer unless they take it to court now.
Long story short - get to keep my NCB regardless of the claim outcome and I have agreed to pay the excess and get the repairs done. They can use this to take 3rd party to court etc.0 -
Good news that. I have no experience with Diamond, but it seems a lot are slipping. Currently my beef is with Churchill who have mucked around my friend and my girlfriends mother over three non-fault accidents.
Absolutely nightmare'ish.0 -

Absolutely nightmare'ish.
They mucked around with me as well. Paid out to an UNINSURED driver who claimed I had smashed his rear end in when I simply nudged his bumper. He had been turning left out of a side road and suddenly stopped for no reason (apart from wanting me to rear-end him) while I was looking to my right to check the road was clear.
Of course my no claims was suspended while this clown puts in a claim direct to my insurers (giving me false info) for over £500 worth of damage and Churchill paid it despite one of their own assessors agreeing (after inspecting my car which was totally un-damaged) that the alleged damage to the other car was not consistent with the "damage" to my car.
After months of wrangling and me threatening to take Churchill to court, they eventually re-instated my no claims. But I would never take a policy out with them again!PLEASE NOTEMy advice should be used as guidance only. You should always obtain face to face professional advice before taking any action.0
