Have you spoken with your local Council, Trading Standards? Won't help to get your money back but at least perhaps you'll feel a bit better about it all.

I'm sure most of us have been a bit naive/trusting sometimes (well, I have), you'll have to cut your losses and get the job completed by decent tradesmen. Hopefully Phoenix will at least have done the bits they did do properly.

Lesson learnt (not much consolation I know) but a very, very good warning/reminder to everyone.
Seen it all, done it all, can't remember most of it.

Phoenix upvc in runcorn are now trading as Safe Choice from the same premises and with the same 2 shady owners and are still ripping off their customers . Stay away at all costs. My grandmother was overcharged by [TEXT DELETED BY FORUM TEAM]4 a full house of Windows. She has paid in full yet only half the windows were fitted, badly I might add. When asked 2 make the badly fitted windows good we were told Phoenix had gone out of business but all they've done is change the name on their premises. Stay away from SAFE CHOICE from runcorn.

It would be good to get more details about safe choice or safechoice if they officially exist, I have a feeling conservatories might be the order of the day.

    This currently from yell.com

" Phoenix Upvc ripped me off and refused to complete my work because they didn't like my reviews. I'm taking them court. Companies House is proposing to strike them off, but I've asked for a postponement while I sue them. The work should have been completed on 2/10/13 and I've paid IN FULL. "

Rip off report is a good site to post reviews about them as it cannot be removed

Yes, you told us that last week.

Can we look forward to next week's instalment?

Greenday upvc or green day as they are sometimes known as are

Greenday Aluminium & Upvc Systems Ltd

And appear to give their Blackburn address on 192 as located at a poultry farm in Lancashire, with horse breeders nearby?
The address is also partly incorrect ...
The correct word is sough not ugh ..
This farm had to apply for retrospective planning permission for a building it had erected for" equine storage"
Does it have permission for greenday upvc to operate from there?
Hyndburn borough council has had issues in that location before with planning permission being refused as it's green belt land etc.

Here is a link about the area.
So is greenday upvc address on 192 a permanent dwelling or a caravan ?
