I've contacted Cowboy Builders. The form they send takes a long time to complete.

I will be contacting the other agencies.

I know who's reading this, and I'm not putting your name on here, either of you.

I'm still waiting to hear from Phoenix. I've had to have the internal door fitted by somebody else just to get the job done!

So now I've had to pay for the radiator to be put in, the door to be put in , and skirting boards, floorboards and picture rails to be fitted. I've already paid Phoenix to do this.

This company is absolutely diabolical. They fail to complete fit for purpose work, and fail to keep appointments and are serial company starters and dissolvers. They lost Certass registration and are on the fakes and forgeries section of Trustmark. Please take due diligence and avoid this company.

How did you pay for this? Was any of it on a credit card or other form of finance? (e.g. a bank loan).

If yes then look at the Section 75 article on MSE. (Search for it). The credit provider are jointly liable for the performance of the contract. Thus if Phoenix are not prepared to sort it then you may be able to charge to the credit provider the (reasonable) costs of rectification.

Hi no....they wanted cash /bank transfer only. You find out all too late that their accreditations are worthless. They are continuing to build without the necessary accreditations that will leave people with buildings that are not necessarily building regs legit. These threads have her a way to try to stop others falling foul. I have had to have a full refit. They are people who know the system all too well.
