Grrr! I'm actually paying to go to pontins in Prestatyn next weekend!! Only £60 though in upgraded accomodation due to earlier offer posted on here! Wouldn't have dreamed of going other than the free weekend we had last year (again thanks to MSE)! Turned out to be a lovely break! Hope everyone who has bagged one of these deals has a great time and brilliant post Mrs Robinson!

Well done to everyone, for all those going to Prestatyn please be careful of the Speed Camera Van that sits around the corner !! Normally sitting just passed the garage before you follow the road to the right by Pontins.

Sorry but I'm not to far away and I see it quite often, and I feel dreadfully sorry for the holiday makers that go home and don't realise what will be on the mat.

So drive carefully and have a great holiday.

hate to possibly hijack this thread but I cant help thinking that feeling sorry for them is a bit odd...
if they dont speed they wont get caught!

Oh well just being helpful !!! Otherwise the free holiday won't be.

The speed limit changes about four times in a mile, can be a bit dunting for someone who hasn't been to the area.

And no I don't speed, but this is the area where 1 mile over and ...................................................................

Hey Guys i managed to get a 4 night midweek at southport 2nd July (from another sight). But am a bit worried now. I have spent all day reading reviews on trip advisor etc and was horrified at some (most) of them. Has anyone on here stayed at southport recently ? im not sure what to do, i no its free and i shouldnt be moaning but those reviews were really bad. I might give them a call tomorow and see if i can pay to upgrade
