  • I hope there is no hidden charge, or ahl be in ma car and on ma way back home, I think the hidden charges are more your electric prb £5 for weekend and the money you will spend in the entertainment places, it may also cost to use certain facilities.

If you look at it just as it is, a free break, with basic accom, take your own tea/coffee for room, and few bottles of cheap plonk for the room, you can have a fab fun time for minimal cost..... if nothing else its an adventure without the cost.

Hope we all enjoy and post some fun stories on here for when we return......

Thanks again to the person who posted this, its a well deserved break that I wudnt have had this year.....

    Hi there. I'm new.
Have some of you read the Wisbech Standard?
If NO you can read it online here: http://editions.pagesuite.co.uk//PageSuite3.aspx?page=51&scale=91.9&height=775&width=1107&editionid=20304&filekey=&path=_PSEDitions/Archant/Wisbech%20Standard/2007-06-21/
Ad is Three free holidays to be won today! (page 52)
    T&Cs says
    1. 1 free 3 or 4 night self-catering break will be awarded to the first 6 people who call answering the questions correctly. Each of the 6 breaks is based on 4 people sharing a 1 bedroom classic apartment. Optional upgrades available at an additional charge.
    2. All places are subject to availability at time of booking.
...SO I think there is hidden charge.

    What do you think?

This same offer was in the same paper last year i think they also said only 6 free, i went to Hemsby and met up with a few poeple there who also had the free offers. I think they wouldnt put an advert out for free holidays as its bad advertising.
Last year i posted this same comp on another web site and someone quicly copied it from there and posted it here before i had chance. If you search back you may still find the thread and the comments from all those who had the free holidays. All we paid for was electric and our food and drinks. It was a great freebie although basic. Dont expect the ritz! But at the end of the day its free. I am pleased to see that some who are in need of a holiday or wouldnt normally have been able to get away will benefit from this offer.
Pontins will make their money by the entertainment halls etc. Its better for them than having empty apartments. Also if you enjoy its good publicity and they hope you will return.
