I have a Sony Ericsson C0682 but 4 weeks I got a new Nokia smart phone The best thing since sliced bread My family bought me a desk top then a laptop and next a kindle wonder what will appear this Christmas???? They gave me a new Canon digital camera which had batteries so bought myself a Sony Carl Zeisse lens camera in St Thomas about 2 years ago or less. On a Cruise !!! So sinple I already had uppteen camers's lenses tripods etc etc in this house as my Husband was a really good Photographer I bought him a SLR Nikon Camera in Singapore the year before he died in 1996 Since I got the Digital one I use nothing else The sentimental value is important and I also have in my attic all the the equipment he used to use even before me married in 1966! No one will ever want it and my family will probably dump it but it has travelled with me everywhere and goes from attic to attic Now living in Harrogate, Married 30 years died aged 56 Brain tumour
An elderly friend who has a pay and go phone which is DEAD I have told that I will give her mine. Her sim card is orange and she can't understand how she can use another phone that is not ORANGE Not the sharpest page in the book. I did not intend to write this ramble and you will not be interested in my life story. A bad time of year for me and even after 17 years .

I have have opened the back taken out the battery and nnot taken the sim out yet in case I don't remember which way it goes back in! Unfortunately she is coming tomorrow morning and so I was playing around with it so that I could teach her how to text etc. What I have now got the dreaded letters suggestions that I absolutely hate. I am in my 70's and she in her 80's
I now wonder if anyone could instruct me as to how I can get rid of this I have been able to do it in the past maybe by accident but tonight no such LUCK I love my new phone and wish I had changed it years ago This phone I have is less than 2 years old. I didn't want a touch screen as I thought it would be too difficult for me. I will feel an absolute FOOL if I am not able to do this in the morning but when I have had a decent sleep I may be fine
She is a technophobe God knows how long it will take me to teach her to text My 7 year granddaughter taught me in about 5 minutes I didn't seem to get a manual with the phone maybe I did but don't remember or where it is there is a how to do things on it but whether it is because I am dead beat tonight All the prep for Christmas plus I am ill at the moment If anyone can help me I will be forever in your debt. Can't believe that I am confused after such a short time. I have not been sleeping and I really think that is the problem BUT she is coming at 11 am in the morning HELP would be so much appreciated This is how bad it is at the moment in that can't remember how to do a capital letter and I promise I have not been drinking just ill with lots of medication to take. I don't for a minute think she will master it Her Son is telling her that she could text her Grandson who is in NY and after telling her I will teach her now I am panic stricken She will think this woman is crazy I did google to see if there was a manual so these Forum's are a great life line for me
Please feel free to ignore the first half of this and if anyone can help I know it is easy but I am lost It is 1.10am but when I got into bed it was very much on my mind hence this epistle and gospel rolled into one!!!
You are my LIKE line and all of you do a steller or maybe stellar are Off to sleep for me now and hopefully I will find the answer in the morning. Thank you all who do so much for me.
I wish all of you a very happy Christmas !

Sue

I want to apologise for putting my life story on this forum. Whar I would like to do is to delete Would appreciate it as I ashamed of it.
I also was not able to sort it out but called o2 here in Harrogate asked to come in and they would sort me out which is what the did.
I can't put her sim card in my phone as hers is Orange mine is o2 . They were very helpful indeed so we went to the Orange
It transpires the the sim etc was cancelled as she had not used it for a long period
Orange called a number they have reactivated the sim but it will be a day or so until this happens. Her phone no will remain and all numbers will be there. Told her to use it at least once a month.
Once again many thanks and thought I should update you. Please let me get rid of that dreadful!!! Post? Where would I be without you all BUT I do give you a headache I am sure !
