hi all, my nanna has just recently taking out a new contract with eze talk for a talk n surf package, she received a router/modem but hasn't been able to connect at all to the internet. i've spent 4 hours today on/off the phone to tech support trying to sort this out, as well as my nan making numerous calls about the problem, all details are correct in the setup, and just feel now that all we are doing is banging our head against a brick wall with no outcome. does she have a right to cancel the contract and look elsewhere, due to the village she's in she doesn't have many options but there are a couple.

If she's on an non-LLU exchange then she has hundreds of supplier options, not just a couple.
What is the actual issue ('not able to connect' does not tell us anything at all)? What error messages does she get on opening her browser?
Has the line actually been enabled for broadband yet (you say the contract was 'recently take out')?
What make and model of router is it and what do the diagnostic lights tell you? Is she trying to connect by ethernet or wireless?
What does the supplier say the issue is?
ADSL broadband is a self install package, so unless the line or router is faulty, it's ultimately down to the customer to set it up-you can't void your contract without penalty on that basis. Better to get in a local PC tech support if you can't work out the problem.
