  • All you can do is be honest and answer all their questions as best you can - it will not be anything the examiner has not seen before and they will not judge you
  • I know its hard going back over things you would rather forget, but try to see it as throwing all the bad stuff away, clearing out your head and starting fresh...there is light at the end I promise x
  • We were quite shocked when she asked us what we had bought on our Argos card in 2007.
We were expecting to have the past raked up but not to that extent!
  • sorry for not getting back sooner guys but thanks again... its kinda hard as now just waiting to hear back form the OR and i'm not sure how to live m life and dont even wanna touch my bank account ;(((
  • Chin up Albo - it will all pass. I've had a pretty miserable year too (and I'm not out of the woods yet in some other aspects of my life) but the BR has been - perversely - the one bright spot of 2013 although it didn't feel like it at the time. BR was a positive rather than a negative step and lord knows I needed one of those! You will get support here when you need it :)

Agree with above Albo, we will all get through this together with the support here. I am also seeing the bankruptcy as a positive. Look at it this way. Very soon it will all be behind you and you can start again knowing how difficult you have had it and how ashamed you felt at going bankrupt so you're not going to get in that same situation again. The time is for living now and making sure we all don't make the same mistakes. Finance can kiss my behind as far as I'm concerned! I won't even dream of going anywhere near catalogues, payday loan companies or anything else for that matter!
  • i know its gonna get better... just wanna get my other interview over then i will really know where i stand and then i can think about moving forward.
just feel like i'm in limbo right now
