These go towards the same benefits as class 1 (employees) except for contribution based JSA.

If only it were just class 2 contributions. They also pay hefty class 4 contributions. Neither count towards contribution based JSA though.

Glad it all worked out ok - the DWP get loads of these malicious calls, or calls from those who think the know the facts, and don't, and unfortunately, have to waste time doing them instead of being able to pursue the real scammers.

It's usually quickly sorted, and your file will be flagged to show that there has already been one 'false' report, so you shouldn't get any hassle if the person does it again.

Thanks for your replies. This person actually wrote in which in itself tells you something, letter writing is a dying art so that takes care of the youngsters, I have an idea of who it is by the wording as well. Actually I know who it is, but I'm a great believer in Karma so I feel sorry for them.
