Changing ISP

My BT broadband contract runs out on the 24th Dec and I've just gotten my MAC code as I'm thinking of going over to Plusnet (£1.99pm plus line rental)

Question is when can I sign up online with Plusnet? Looks like the deal runs out on the 18th so am quite keen on bagging that deal

Thanks

  • Thanks. I've gone to sign up this morning and it says my estimated speed is 3mb, which is half of what I'm currently getting with BT.

Should I be concerned or will I get the same speed as currently?

24/12 is only 12 days away, so you won't be switched before Christmas. Sign up now.
Since Plusnet runs on the BT network, your speed should be no different.
How are you testing your current speed?

Did you sign for Plusnet up via the cashback sites?

I agree with macman, your broadband speed should be similar to what you’re getting now with BT.
