i've emailed them to set out my case. i feel they have presented the advert that on face value claims it's easy to cancel and no obligation when that isn't the case.

you'd have thought they'd have stated that the discount code made you liable for a full month's payment

Which you are directed to, if you read the page where the OP got their discount code from, before you even get to the code, the link is clearly provided:

Do you mean the link to their cancellation policy?

I thought I was replying to the point about the availability of their FAQs.

Before you paid, you ticked a box to say you had read their cancellations policy, where that is clearly explained.

    Probably.

    You will struggle though.

Remember that line from their refund policy:
MusclePack do not offer refunds on packs supplied except where goods are damaged, faulty, or expired.
Although a statement like that cannot remove your statutory rights, it will certainly lead to 'discussion'.

How much money are we talking about here?

it's only £18. it's not going to financially cripple me, it's more the priniciple. i'm gonna wait for a response but will probably have to write it off as a relatively cheap mistake to read things through.

i suppose it's not like the items will go to waste either, they will get used

in the interest of fairness, i woke up to an email this morning saying they're reviewing the term in question and that i'm free to cancel.

big thanks to muscle pack - top notch customer service in resolving the issue i had, even though it was mostly [read: all] my own fault
