I should be getting £140.00 but I am paying back budgeting loan so that is why I get £126.33.

Budgeting loan is not free you know.

It was your choice to take out a budgeting loan- yes they're not free, nor should they be. You simply spent that money in advance which is now coming out of your fortnightly payments. But if you WANT to say you only get £126.33 per ortnight, you must also agree that you earned £140.00 PLUS whatever your borrowed in one fortnight.

However, even if you want to play that game- I get given £113.60 each fortnight from the jobcentre, so YOU should count YOURSELF lucky that you earn more than me, even with the bridging loan payments being taken into account.

But I imagine because of your specific circumstances, that extra money doesn't stretch that far. That it's not that simple, because yours still isn't enough. Well, I imagine the same would apply in the OP's case.

There is nothing wrong with wanting to get a better job, or feeling upset if your manager makes promises they don't keep. Nor is there anything wrong with wanting to be paid appropriately for the work you do. Just because *you* are jobless, it doesn't mean the rest of the world should just settle for what they have in life and count themselves blessed because they're working for less than minimum wage.

Because I'm pretty sure you're not happy simply because you're earning more than me.
