Goooood morning everyone! :j
Well, this is my first time joining this thread, spent the last few days having a nosey through and taking notes!
I have done a budget for this year, including all the bills, a set amount for food and fuel each month. Total comes to my whole wage after tax, so this means that DH's WHOLE wage (minus anything we spend on presents, christmas or clothes/haircuts etc) is available for saving!
So, by my not too bad maths skills, I 'think' we have about £15k 'spare' Repeat that, £15k?!?!!
I'm very serious this year about clearing my 0% interest credit card, putting money by to sort out our house (Needs the roof repaired for a start!), and hopefully having a holiday this year.
Hopefully, if I get my butt in gear and stop wasting things, we will have a happy year this year!!
xCan't think of anything smart to put here...0 -

Have been making lots of soup to use up all the bits and bobs in the fridge. My bulk lentil supply is still going strong. I have quite a bit of chickpea and rice flour needing used so I will try and get some cheap potatoes tomorrow in order to cook up a hearty batch of potato scones.
Where do you get these bulk lentils from please? I see many times people referring to bulk-buy but I have no idea where to do it... because buying in S's or any other SM doesn't make it cheaper just because I buy a lot :undecided, does it.
Would you share the potato scone recipe? I love them6mo EF: £ /£

Ok have done my sums and my order with Asda is £30 + £3 delivery and I have £6 voucher to use. Grand total £27.
If I use Sainsbury and assuming I used public transport rather than pay for delivery ( i dont drive or have access to a car) my order would be £27 and I have £4 voucher so grand total £23. If I pay delivery I'd have to add £7 so would come out at £30 BUT I'd also get 46 nectar points = 23p :rotfl::rotfl:
How come the delivery cost so much? Could you perhaps try another slot that is cheaper? When I order from S's they usually have slots for 2.99-3.99...6mo EF: £ /£

Just ordered my "free" 45 andrex toilet rolls from amazon after getting another pay out from Swagbucks
Back to 0 again though so need to build them back up.
Also ordered myself a years supply of Good Housekeeping magazine with some Tesco vouchers I had left.
I love getting stuff for free. :jMake £10 a Day Feb .....£75.... March... £65......April...£90.....May £20.....June £35.......July £600 -
On the plus side - today I have:
listed 21 items on ebay (so easywith mobile)
found some stuff in garage to ebay
found DOH's warm working coat
started on a craft project for friend's present (free)
on the minus side
I haven't done any actual work for work/housework
still not dressed
found that the garage roof is leaking AGAIN but in a different part
However, the sun is shining (although it is still freezing) and I am feeling energised an motivated. Going into town later to see if the lady with the second hand furniture shops wants my lamp. She probably won't but I can try. I'm also going to see if there are any of those cheap sweetie jars so that I can store my flour which is going everywhere in my stoopidly designed cupboard.0 -

I need to get my head round swag bucks do you have any tips? I try to make my daily target usually from the videos but could do with a check list of daily things on there0 -
Started to record what I spend everyday on stuff in my diary. I must say it shall come in handy.
Found that I spend quite a lot frivolously but I would be happy if everything I buy this year can be got threw sales. I've no real stock pile since I moved which I miss horribly!094 Sealed pot member! (7) €185 (8) €138 (9) €€250
