I was in Lidl today and my goods came to £5.50. I gave the cashier £10 and for my change she gave me 50p and x2 £2 coins. My face was like a bit TOO & I was "thanks so much!" a little too enthusiastically - never had 2 in my change before - shiny too!

Paid for £5.72p worth of stuff yesterday with a £10 note & got 2 x £2 coins in change. Both gone in the pot, no idea how mcuh is in there, will open it April next to pay for a selfish bday treat just for me

I've not updated this in ages!

Completely lost count of my total... and since I am popping them in a sealed tin, I can only say that its an inch til it's full!

When I empty and count them I will update my signature. I reckon I have about £450 in it at the moment!!!

Some of the collectable ones I will sell and the rest of the bog standard ones I will bank. Got about 19 I want to sell.

I'm on a high right now, it was pretty painless and now a big chunk to go towards my goal

There are a few that I suppose are more collectable than the bog standard ones, there's a Guy Fawkes one with a spelling error along the side, for example. Some Olympic themed ones too.
