One more today. Hubby went down shop earlier and as he went to give me my change I asked "did you get me a two pond coin?" He laughed and said he'd feel like a loon asking for two pound coins in the change.....I need to train him.

Hi Joolz-2005,
Some coins seem to be harder to get hold of than others. Twiggy said that the Mary Rose coin was selling on eBay for £8.00
I have seen others being sold for similar amounts. I am thinking a little bit more carefully about which coins I will be banking when the time comes.
I won't buy any coins - half the fun before me is seeing which one I have got.

I've often considered asking for them in my change but haven't plucked up the courage yet! I do veer towards the self-checkouts if I'm paying in cash though as, if your total works out right, they give out £2 coins more often than not!

Another 3 today.... you daughter swapped the one she had off me the other day, the 2nd one I got from cashing my Euromillions ticket from Friday (and giving hubby the lesson by actually asking for a 2pound coin) and the third was my change when popping to shop.
