Hi betsie I'm intrigued by the tin weighing I am guessing there is a calculation to determine money held? I only ask as my tins have been stolen from and I need a way to make sure I can monitor it s o I can be more precise when approximating when money was taken so the culprit can be identified.
Any help would be great. Thank you

hickles I weighed my sons empty pot (same as mine) and it weighed 402g. Then I weighed £2 coins, each weigh 11/12g but for some reason 5 coins weigh always weigh 60g. Then just do the maths. I would love to claim ownership of this idea but I think it was Gem who had it originally and I borrowed it. Now I'm hooked!2015 £2 Saver #82

I have a digital counting money jar. I picked it up cheap in morrisons petrol station a while ago. Wow betide anyone in my family if the coins don't tally the total shown There is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word which means more to me than any other. That word is England.
