Euros to dollars

I think this is a very silly question but one I am stuck with. I have some euros left over from a holiday (a 20 euro note). My friend is off to America in a few weeks and wondered if I would be able to do a straight exchange from euros to dollars at a bureau de change?
Many thanks

Probably. But it would be best traded with somebody going to the Eurozone.

It's not worth incurring commission charges for such a small amount.

Keep the €20 until you next go on holiday or, if you are desperate to get rid of it, sell it to a friend at a rate that is a bit better than the selling rate being quoted on the high street at the time.
