Well, you can understand the confusion as this thread is about the VIP sale.

The general sale has for the most part always started on Boxing day in-store, usually 5am opening.

Hi All


Just been on the phone to customer services regarding a return. Took a chance and asked the advisor about the invites going out. She said that marketing hadn't released the information yet but it was likely to be nearer the end of the week. If I hadn't heard anything by Saturday to call them back.


I explained I had an ongoing complaint back in September and the complaints advisor had said she would call me early/mid dec to notify me of the vip invites going out. I haven't received a call so she called through to the complaints dept, assured me all the notes were there and that my account was being monitored and I would be receiving a call when the invites went out but as it stands they also haven't received any info from marketing.


Just a heads up for all you crazy bargain hunters, I'll keep you updated!

Well look, if the VIP sale is indeed happening before Christmas, it is usually on the 22nd with invites going out 2-3 days before; in fact, I've never seen anything other than this. So on that basis, allowing for a possible 21st Dec VIP sale as per the other post, then the invites must be either today or tomorrow. Next need to allow time for setting this up.

Shame really, I have regular deliveries off a sub-contract driver who deliveries hundreds of Next items per day in our area. He always gets it spot on because he gets invited to buy first with employees a couple of days before. Sadly though, through complete bad luck, I've not seen him this week to check!
