It is always sensible to take a photo of your car outside the car park if you are going to double dip.
But how do you prove when the photo was taken?
My point was though that I might use the car, then my partner takes it out and neither of us actually discuss where we have gone. It would be an interesting scenario.0 -

Most cameras timestamp photos. Download them to a PC and right click to see the properties, which may even include a GPS location.
It would then be up to POPLA/the court to decide if your pictures were true. Given that faking evidence saw an MP and his ex banged up for a while, I think most assessors will believe your photo. Even the prankster got his ticket cancelled the one time he sent a photo in to POPLADedicated to driving up standards in parking0 -
