Best package

Hi
I have free O2 Sky Broadband which expires in March 2014, home phone and Sky tv.

I have just bought a smart tv so I will be looking unlimited bband with a reliable company.

Has anyone have any dealings with Plusnet as they seem cheap?

Plusnet's broadband is £12.49 when you don't take their phone line, so not your cheapest option, if you want to leave your phone with Sky. Why not take Sky's broadband, because it will only cost you £7.50, as you have their landline and tv ?

Would fibre optic be best for streaming?

What is wrong with Sky Broadband that you want to migrate to a BT company.
That gum you like is coming back in style.

You don't need fibre to stream, you just need ADSL with a line speed of about 3Mbps.
Why not just cut a retention deal with Sky in 3/14?
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

Forgive my ignorance I thought fibre optic was required. I will take your advice

Do your research with smart tv there is not much protection like a pc ,it is apparently very easy for people to log in they can watch you ,listen to you, track you so do your research and stay safe

It depends on your ADSL line speed. If you can already stream OK to your PC or laptop, then you can do the same to your smart TV.
