Mobile phones direct
In looking to buy a new iPhone a couple of weeks ago, I searched the MSE's 'Cheap iPhones' link and found a deal for an iPhone 5C 32gb for a fair £33 a month through Mobile Phones Direct.
I placed the order and was sent an automated email from the Webshop requesting that I call them back... however, I've been trying to call them - everyday - for over a week now and have not been able to get through to speak to someone, even when I've been on hold for over 30mins.
I'm frustrated and furious - I just want a phone and am concerned that I've locked into a contract with them now. I'm also disappointed that I found this company through MSE, thinking that they'd be a reputable company, but it seems I'm not the only one who has been having difficulties with them - see trustpilot.co.uk to see poor feedback.
Has anyone else had any problems with them? What is the best thing to do?

If you search on here you will find something similar. Since you haven't received the phone and you have 7 days to cancel (providing you don't use it or the sim) I would email them doing just that.
The fact they called you probably means there is a problem honouring the deal or with the credit checks done by the network. It would be helpful to know what the problem is, but you can at least avoid continuing with the contract IF it has been set upo (which I doubt).0
