Nope, I wasn't even talking about Waitrose, I was talking about the agency.

Nope, I wasn't even talking about Waitrose, I was talking about the agency.
:huh: How has this become difficult to deal with?! You got an email from an agency, that is unlikely to be related to JLP (JLP have their own internal personnel department and wouldn't bother using an agency).
You applied for a job either via CV Library (like you said) or through Jobsite.com - both of which are useless. Unless you want your Jobseekers allowance search form to look pretty....
Ideally you go DIRECTLY to an employer, unless you want to be a temp worker and use an agency to help find you temp work.
You received an email via an agency, which is suggesting it's attached to JLP. JLP should be made aware this company is falsely representing them.
If you really can't be arsed or afford to phone them. Go on their website and contact them via email. I've decided to do the leg work for you... http://www.jlpjobs.com/contact-us.htm
When applying for jobs you have to be proactive 'well they haven't called me...' Is a lame excuse, if they haven't called you - call them to check on your application progress. It's not difficult and earns you kudos!0 -
