I cant trust royal mail

I sent a Special Delivery yesterday, I had to as it was the staff wage sheets and has to be at its destination by monday, Although the RM could not gaurantee next day delivery, Although I had to mail it by 3pm and it cost £4.75 for a guaranteed monday 1pm which ive yet to see.

With regards to peoples whinging and moaning as moaned by dangeroussports , I think if someones had something stolen or mail tampered with, especially by the Royal Mail staff, they are entitled to moan about it, unless you mean we should just shut up and not mention it, personally, a whinge or moan tells me they got off lucky, should I steal your wallett, does that mean your just going to moan about it, or am I safe in the knowledge that you wont say a word and wish me luck on my spending spree?

I know they're on strike, but they said Special Delivery was gonna be as normal :rolleyes:

They told me yesterday that they could not do next day special deliveries, due to the strike. The earliest special deliveries they could offer me yesterday was monday. But I wont hold my breath.

Yesterday I got a letter for another street that is a completey different name and postcode but is in the village
Last week got a npower letter for someone on the street (different number) and we are even they are odd

Wondering if my freebies have been going somewhere else as ones ive ordered for my mam arrived at her house and ones for me ordered the same day havent

I got within 5 days of going to a county court because of royal mail - before they settled and gave me my money! -

I brought a phone off ebay, sent special delivery, arrived opened, with no phone and some royal mail leaflets stuffed inside. I went thru all the right channels, complaints, Post watch, then I decided to take court action, they tried to imply that I either took it out, and was lying or the seller never sent it - though they could not explain why the seller paid a higher postage cost (because of the heavy weight of the phone) if he only sent these leaflets.

They had all their laywers involved, and it was little me doing it all myself, and 5 days before we were due in court, they settled. Result, mind you it took 6 months in total.

So my advice, stand up to it, dont let it happen!!

So out of the people that took the special delivery yesterday did you get it as a discount, I would say it didnt get there at the shown time and sue.

The Special Delivery times are not applicable over the strike period. The sender should be told this when they post the item.

Some specials have been delivered today but not all of them. It depended on how many people crossed the picket lines and worked in your local sorting office.
