Transfer USA shares to ISA ??

I have about 12k of shares in an American company trading on NYSE am I able to transfer these into my S&S ISA ?

You can't transfer any shares directly into an ISA - you have to sell them outside the ISA, put the cash into the ISA and re-buy them again. (There is one exception to this that I'm aware of and that's if you've just got the shares from an employee SAYE scheme).
You can hold any shares that are offically listed on a recognised stock exchange within the ISA.0 -
