A contact for nPower??

Options
I want a contact for nPower. I was on their website looking for an email but found nothing, so i looked for an address. I could only find one via the complaints route:

PO Box 97, Peterlee, SR8 9AP

It's not really a complaint as such that i'm contacting about. I don't want the phone line as i tried this the other day & it said there was a minimum of 45 minutes wait. Forget that for a carry on!!

I switched to them, duel fuel, but the paperwork i've had from them only acknowledge electricity, not gas. I want to know what's going on. I have an account number but apparently no online account, so i went to register & it wouldn't let me. It said the account number is invalid or whatever.

I'm considering ditching them before i even begin simply due to the sheer number of grumbles about them online.

Is this the only contact detail, other than the phone number for them?

  • Question to OP.

Did this "David" from npower actually sort anything?

Am curious because he didn't seem to answer your original question with regard to a clear contact or address.

    They can't post emails
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

I only got the message from them Friday night lol. Even i wouldn't expect a reply by Monday.
  • Why can't Npower offer a simple contact email on their web site? I do not want to make a complaint at this stage: just advise them that I have yet to have bills following the installation of credit meters in August. Nor do I want to register as to do that requires the acceptance of on-line billing.

Fortunately I don't have DD set up with them and I'm keeping a regular record of my usage, but it's all so uneccessary. I'll be changing at the end of winter anyway, so perhaps my final bill (if I get one) will be my first..
  • They don't want emails, just people holding on the phone.
But email them at complaintsteam@npower.com but don't hold your breath - they too bungle. You will get through to them though.
