Last night we went to Ikea great Value. ok so it's not a restaurant but we don't mind. Cafeteria style is good also as long as I don't have to cook for a fussy family. They can see the food they want to eat then.
Others I have noticed on this board are Wetherspoons, Nandos, Toby Carvery and Harvester.
Are there others to similar to Ikea?

Costco? You don't always need to be a member to get into the cafeteria either.0

check out your local catering colleges as they often have 'practice' restaurants
good food for reasonable prices, tho the waiting service is often a bit sloppy
when life gives you lemons, stick them in your top & pretend you have pointy boobs.

I went up to London last week, and popped into an old haunt for lunch - Wong Kei, Chinese restaurant in Soho.
I had "fried Quai due" (thick Singapore noodles with pork, prawns and vegetables, great with hot chilli oil) and a pot of Jasmine tea for £4.80.
It is hard to beat that.0 -

There's always Crown carvery! It's about 3.69 or a bit more for more food for a full carvery! Choice of meats, yorkshires, potatoes and veg and you can get unlimited ice-cream! Awesome!0
