Clearly someone who doesn't know how Google Adwords operate.

Make up your mind, which is it a "value added service", or a something "no one in their right mind would use".

I think it's time to put the crack pipe down and have a 10 minute time out. You clearly have no idea what you're talking about. :)
  • Can anybody advise me please, my Brother contacted sellmytimshare and paid £99 for a weekend in Bournemouth, we saw a person there from monster Travel who said he would be able to sell my brothers timeshare in 14 months, my Brother brought monster travel credits from them for approx £5,995 and paid a deposit of £1000, he then has to pay £100 a month for the 10 year loan for £5,995, after 14 months they would sell my timeshare and guaranteed my Brother %100 he would get a cheque for £15,650, which he would then pay off the £5,995 with the cheque, what is left is my Brothers, has he been scammed and if so can he get his £1000 back.
  • I've just worked out the official reason. It's to get on the Firefox & chrome add blocker adblockplus's official whitelist, all adverts need to be marked.

  • Silver and Black,

Paying upfront for a timeshare resale is now illegal according to the European Timeshare Directive - your brother will be able to get a refund and also have any contracts declared null and void as they are, in essence, illegal. However ... does the contract mention the resale or has he actually bought a 'holiday club'? Either way, the credit card provider should refund the monies paid and the loan can then be paid off.

Realistically, there is no longer a resale market for timeshares - your brother ought to speak to the resort to see if they will just let him exit the contract. There is usually small charge for the administration at the resort and for them to deal with the trustees, it should not be more than 1000GBP maximum. PM me if you get stuck with it.
