Well i woke up this morning feeling quite lost, its my first full day by myself :j And i really have no idea what to do?
I have already done my banking, amended the shopping list, set myself a new budget, done uswitch to see if there is anyone cheaper for anything......and there isnt:rotfl:
Had a quick scout on freecycle, Hoovered, done the e-mails.....
and i still have 4 hours left:eek:0 -
Hello again!!
I have been very naughty, i sent OH to asda with £60 and told him to go nuts!
Was a total dream being able to have branded food again and OH kinda let all of his pent up nonspending aggression out at the bakery....my god custard donuts are divine!
Also had a splurge at a car boot yesterday and bought a black bin bag full of toys for £3, considering most of them were mothercare and ELC we got a total bargain, DD managed to haggle some beany babies down to 25p each from £1 each (bless her) she said how much would it be for all four and held out 2 50p's and asked 'do i have enough' ?
I think it was the puppy dog eyes that did it but still very pleased for her.0 -
Hi Lauren-i laughed when i read this as i was only saying to my mum yesterday that i am really fed up with being on a strict budget and would love to pick up a few treats for a change without worrying about pennies all the time!Well good for you -enjoy your custard doughnuts-you deserve them!! I have asked any family members who buy a little something for my birthday next week to get me a lil voucher for asda/tesco and i fully intend to do the same-best wishes to you and yours....0
