"Storage space for bog rolls and shoes" would be about right.
It's a very respectable size house for two beds. I think it need some reworking to maximise on it, but there's room for two really good bedrooms and the platform, for sure. Probably three beds.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Sherlock has been a brilliant series! only problem is how few episodes there are! There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
I'd not spotted the floorplan earlier. Looking now. I just read the words and it said "2nd bedroom up paddle stairs" - and I saw the paddle stairs to the platform.Doozergirl wrote: »It's a very respectable size house for two beds. I agree with both PN and Doozer - it could be a 2 bed house, but it's not at the moment. That crawl space is an absolutely lethal place to sleep - knock yourself out on the ceiling, fall down the stairs (no rail, nothing to one side) or fall off the platform (no rail, again).
I also think it's pretty pricey - that's E2, should be cheaper than that....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

I watched that and saw the wood finishes and thought wow. When I worked in commercial interiors that was the most expensive wood finish bar none, so to see it as the main surface finish rather than the detailing took my mind off the plot for a bit.
're the workers cottage near Brick Lane... I thought that was an area attractive to new immigrants, but nobody could afford that. We visited some friends of ours on Long Island recently.
They had a new dining table, which I said looked like they had dragged off the beach, but apparently it had cost them over $ 4,000 'In nature, there are neither rewards nor punishments - there are Consequences.'0 -

I've always assumed that windows are small to comply with building regs about heat loss cheaply.
Our old house had windows that didn't open properly. It was in a brushfire prone part of Sydney!
Another glorious day here today. It's going to be mid-high 20s and sunny all week.0 -
