Does anyone else wonder what the BBC is on over this Comic Relief investment thing - what does it matter what they have invested in - surely if they were investing in under performing assets it would be an issue?
    I think....

I haven't indulged in ANY news, so have missed most of it but one assumes that the money they are giving in many climates is going to help causes which ironically they may have helped fuel ....

When I press the thanks button, a page of code pops up. puzzled.

Glad it's not just me (paranoia reigns) but it's hugely frustrating - has happened the last few days for me.

I just made jam doughnut muffins (though I couldn't be bothered to do the crunchy sugary topping afterwards).

Lovely, although there's something wrong with either my oven fan or oven door as they don't rise evenly - they look more like one of those stones used in curling (i.e. handle off at an angle!!).

    Still edible though ...

So how do the NPs like their pizza, if at all? Crispy or soggy?

After DW's 'procedure', I took her out for a slap up meal at Franco Manca. We shared a pizza and had a salad each. The pizza was lovely and crisp round the outside, but the middle was all soggy.

This was apparently how they like to make them. And they have a hugely-hot wood-burning oven oven for that purpose, plus a great rep for making fantastic pizzas.

At home, we make pizza on laffa bread (basically a large pita). We put a few coatings on (the less the better IMHO) and stick it in the oven for a bit.

I couldn't complain about the Franco Manca bill, though. £15 between the two of us, including a glass of dreadful wine.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Both, or either, depending on the mood.

Milanese refer to a particular pizza restaurant in revered tones. They only serve maghereta ( and lasagne at some times of day) and Milanese say.....you must go, you must go......so I went ...and its basically a slice of deep pan pizza, lol. If you offered them the same here, they would roll their eyes around say how Unitarian it was :rotfl: It is very good deep pan pizza mind you. You buy it buy weight, just a slice of a huge one.

Hope DW is OK. For some reason I thought your wife would only eat out in kosher establishments.

I like my pizzas thin and crispy.

Just wondering, not asked DH yet......would it be harrassment to post a message asking the company to pay its debt on its own blog? (Blogs actually)
It'd probably be shabby taste... although that does depend on the full details.
