 I agree with all of this, 100%. Sugar used to be expensive, I would guess, because it requires a lot of energy to grow.  Stamina is about doing.
 A good mate used to talk about cycling with me in my old smoking & heavy drinking days vs riding with other guys at work. They were 'gym fit' and would ride him ragged for 40 minutes whereas I'd ride more slowly but could ride all day (fnaaar) and cover 100miles+.  A mainly sugar diet also has some unpleasant side affects which further diminish self esteem. Luckily I haven't had thrush yet, but that's more likely too.
 Doing the aquafit was amazing. I cannot tell you the joy of feeling an endorphin high, something I hadn't expected from bobbing in a pool. It hit at about twenty mins and I started grinning like an idiot. I hit a wall at thirty mins :rotfl: but worked through, and then the rest was easier. The benefit on my weaker side was tremendous :j
 I'm having some technical problems signing up (all the classes book up too fast for me to get in:() but I am going to pay for an annual membership (optimistically ) which lets you book a day earlier, so I have a better chance. ) which lets you book a day earlier, so I have a better chance.
 ATM dogs won't walk far (fair-weather hounds) bar kiwi, and the fields are too wet for any of the kind of walking I want to do for heart rate, so I'm thinking maybe kiwi and I might start wandering further a field. The girls will be furious but it would be good for kiwi.
 Can you not eat anything with umami? Miso soup or vegemite or Bovril? Even Guinness/bitter has a small umami hit.
 Good on you getting the exercise rush, I love it. I used to walk a very long way sometimes at moderate speed rather than walking a shorter distance at breakneck pace.0

 I hadn't and it's fascinating.
 Photography is probably a better job for a blind person than driving IMHO.0

 There have already been trials where one driver has driven the first truck and in effect controlled the nine that are following it. Obviously it's very much in its infancy but it's the start of driverless trucks.0

 Can't come soon enough imho - I would love to be able to hand over the motorway part of every trip to the car and do other things which must be the easiest technologically, I would happily drive the bits at each end if needed. It would also do wonders for fuel efficiency and congestion.I think....0

            Gen. The yeast thing is a point of debate. They said no marmite etc, but that white bread is a staple....which of course is yeasty.....
 I haven't yet had marmite or Vegemite because ,......well, I just haven't. The idea of it without butter is a little ...blah. But I have had poached eggs on toast with marmite and no butter in the past, so might try that for a savoury and roundly umami hit.
 Guinness is out....no alcohol. 
 I will get my head round it eventually I know. It feels very unnatural though, and very unpleasant.0
