My son is just about to buy a new phone on O2 because the old one is faulty and Woolies want the original Sim card returned with it, but he still has credit left on it.

His new phone will be also O2, how does he keep the existing number with the credit?

Thanks.

BTW...It's PAYG if that makes any odds!

i would get in touch with o2 and explain it to them let them sort it rather than woolies at least if you phone o2 you should be able to find out some info there and then rather than sat waiting for woolies

dont forget to have a look on saynoto0870 for an alternative no.

I know that T mobile are happy to transfer credit from one sim to another.

Hopefully O2 will be as well.

Why on earth to Wollies want the sim card with the phone? Just explain the situation with the manager and I'm sure you'll be OK, otherwise stick the new sim card in the old phone, or get a free sim from O2 and put that in there.

T Mobile wont transfer any Credit from one sim card to another as I tried to do that at the weekend as I had lost my phone and any offers i had on there would not be able to be moved to new sim card that i have had to use.
  • I rang O2 the other day. They are happy to transfer credit from one SIM to another BUT this results in the "old" SIM being disconnected.

If you are transferring credit from one SIM card that automatically will get disconnected.
The alternate way is transfer credit from new SIM card to old one[if you are keen to keep old number]
    Am I clear?
