I don't have a garage lol I don't even have a garden I live in a very small one bed flat haha0 -
Looks like it will fit height wise. The only problem now is whether once you attach the hose at the back that you can push it back and close the door. You could fairly easily unclip the door and store it somewhere, you used to be able to take the top off as well. Might not look so streamlined though. Have you anyone to install it?
Do you get a rent reduction if appliance don't work?0 -
What do you mean take the top off? The worktop? Hmmmmm I really don't think the landlord will like any of this, we've had countless problems here and he has never been helpful, all I get told is "He has no money" all the time, its managed through a letting agent on behalf of the landlord.
As for the door, I would want the door to stay as if you knew what it was like where I live you'd understand, my lounge and kitchen is combined and its ever so small so I'd be staring at big ugly washing machine all the time if the door wasn't in front lol. Plus we really have no storage, I don't even have any space to store my hoover it literally sticks out in the room, that's how small it is here.
Arghhh I hate this, he should have replaced the machine before we moved in, its around 20 years old lol.0 -
There was originally a dishwasher when we moved in also, but it never worked so they removed that and left us with an empty cupboard (well its not even a cupboard, they wouldn't even pay for a shelf and base to be put in, so its just an empty space with dirt and bits all over the floor inside)
This is what I mean by how unhelpful he is lol0 -
I think if you look for narrow/slim/shallow depth or compact washing machines you might find something suitable. These type of machines tend to sit level or just short of the depth of a kitchen unit.
Unless you know somebody gifted in DIY it is very unlikely you'll get the integrated door to fit on any non integrated washing machine. The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -

Darn, that's a point I didn't think of it fitting onto the new machineI'm really stuck, looks like I do need an integrated machine, does anyone know of any websites that let you pay in instalments? I cannot do any buy now pay later arrangements though as I have very bad credit. There is no one I can borrow any money off either, really stuck here :S

Could buy from old fashioned catalogues like Littlewoods but you will ending up paying at least a hundred more for the pleasure.

I already have accounts with Littlewoods, Very, Next etc. I have massive bills on them and they have been transferred to debt collection agencies, hence the bad credit so I cannot take out anything that will do a credit check on me.
The only thing I can think of is something like Thane Direct, I bought a H20 steam mop off them and it let me pay in 3 instalments without doing a credit check, though they don't do washing machines, so I need a website similar to that lol.0
