Integrated Washing Machine Help Please!

Hi all
I have an integrated washing machine that sits behind a cupboard door in a fitted kitchen, its ancient and so old that they don't even make parts for it anymore, its a rented property I live in and the landlord isn't very helpful, basically the washing machine is broken and cannot be fixed and its up to me to replace it, I've already checked my tenancy agreement and my landlord does not have to replace it.
My question is, will a normal washing machine fit behind the cupboard there? As I simply cannot afford an integrated machine, cheapest I have found is for around £400! Where as I have found many normal machines around £150-£200. I have read online that normal machines won't fit in an integrated machine space as they are too big? But I'm not sure so thought I would ask on here.
I cannot measure the space as the machine is still in there, to cut a long story short I am still using it but I have to wash everything in a pillowslip as otherwise my clothes get rips in the fabric (already investigated it and we cannot find what is wrong, the only option is to buy a new machine) so I don't want to remove the machine to measure it and then find a normal one wont fit as then I won't have a machine at all lol. Its a nightmare none of my clothes are washing properly and all smell still because they are not getting a proper wash.
Please any advice you can give would be great.
Thank you
Lucy

Hi yes thank you its just still too high for me though, I'm in quite a lot of debt at the moment and struggling so was looking to get a normal one for around £150 or a second hand normal one (even that I'm going to struggle paying for lol), just need to know if a normal one will fit though.
Thank you for looking though0 -
Have you tried eBay?What's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..0

Yes but I cannot find any cheap integrated ones. I really only want a normal one as for when I move then I can take it with me as not everywhere has a space for integrated. I just need to know if anyone knows if a normal will fit into the integrated space I have behind a cupboard door, just hoping the answer will be a yes lol.0

Looking at the specs of this Beko Integrated one and this Freestanding Beko one the only problem I can see would be the height and the depth. The width is the standard 60cm, but the height of the integrated is 82cm where as the freestanding is 85cm. I would measure the gap (Height and Width) and see if one could fit in that way. What's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..0

That's the problem, as I said in my first post I can't measure it as the old machine is still in there lol.0

Can't you measure the outside of the machine? or the door covering it.What's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..0

Why don't you compare the sizes online as the integrated one will be a standard size as will the standard size non intergrated.

It appears from a quick look that it is the height that is the problem. The non integrated one is 3 cm higher. You can measure the height without taking the existing one out just measure from the floor to underneath the worktop on the inside behind the door. Of course your plinth may be a problem.
Can you take the door off and put it to one side? If you replace it with a non- intergrated one and take it away will you not have to replace it with the old one when you leave?0 -

I just measured it and it came up with 87cm high, but not sure if I did it properly lol, I'm no good at things like this
Also if the landlord said they were going to remove the washing machine and not replace it and that its up to me to buy a new one, surely I wouldn't not have to leave behind a machine that I paid hundreds for out of my own pocket?0
