    Hi,

I never thought of writing a letter to the bank, even though I entered my card details online somewhere, it wasn't directly on their website seen as though they don't have one, and I hope that my bank can help me.

It's a different problem if you now admit to throwing your details out to a website. We are now in a position that you DID authorise the debit of the money, albeit because you didn't look any further than the promise of a loan to see what you were agreeing to.
The bank, quite rightly, should reject your request for a refund as it is NOT fraudulent.

Combining Cash Locator services and £67.74 brings up

    http://www.cashlocator.org.uk/loans.php
The Fee charged for Membership Services
We provide a variety of services by phone, internet, mail and other means through a 30 day membership programme (see 'The Benefits of Membership'). In return for these services, You agree to pay a one-off charge of not more than £67.74. On submission of your Membership application you will be automatically charged by a direct charge to the debit/credit card you provided and authorised on application.
If your Membership charge of not more than £67.74 is declined we will immediately take £1.95 in order to validate your card details and cover the cost of search and administration. Should both of these attempts fail we will continue to attempt to collect the one off Membership charge of up to £67.74 at regular intervals until successful. Should the £1.95 validation payment be successful we will continue to attempt to collect the remainder of the one off membership charge of not more than £67.74 at regular intervals until achieved.
Sadly this is EXACTLY what you signed up to and exactly what you asked them to do.
    Cancellation of Membership
A Member can terminate or cancel their membership within 14 days of inception by requesting cancellation in writing to the following address: Cash Locator Cornwall Buildings, 45 Newhall Street, Birmingham, B3 3QR.
Is this the address you wrote to?

Ensure you wrote to them, sent recorded. Ignore denials of receipt or any other waffle.

FOS is the next step unless you go down the 8 week formal complaint route, links already posted above.

which I've never dealt with before.

They are claiming that I gave consent for them to take out £67.74 which I never did.

So you claimed you had never dealt with pay day loans before and you didnt give your consent for the money to be debited.

the OPs other thread says they " I applied to various payday loans, you have to enter your card details so they said that they my details was forwarded to them from another payday company,"

An even better way to start the new year is to resolve to stop putting your details on to assorted unknown websites. While at the same time learning to distinguish between loan companies and loan brokers.
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.

Also in conjunction why there was a need to go entering card details into various websites eg look at where the money is being spent.
