no never. They are always pleasant and so am I. They do not expect a tip
I give my hairdresser a couple of £ as she is part time and gives me a low pensioner rate, while doing my hair really well. If it was expensive, then no I would not tip her either0 -
Basically they are not allowed to accept tips as one driver said to me last xmas "it's more than my jobs worth"....in other words if tipped and found out she would have been sacked or reprimanded.
Don't know how anyone would have found out but there we go.0 -

They probably have Mystery customers and get them to offer tips to catch them out.0 -
I usually have the same driver deliver my groceries each week and he only lives 2 streets away from me so yes I do tip him, as he is bl**dy brilliant but I always pop it through his door in a card so his employees have no way of knowing0

taking a pound tip is not worth the risk if that is the rule.
customers are weird, I did a favour for one once, asking them not to mention it or I would get in trouble, 2 days later they had written in to the manager asking him to check I had done the favour as it was so important  luckily it was a daft rule and me and the manager stood their laughing at the cheek of this customer, it's true nothing stranger than folk.0 -
No, I would not even think to tip the driver, you pay for the delivery and they are paid by the supermarkets to deliver the goods.Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.0

Would never cross my mind to tip the home delivery driver. I don't tip the staff on checkout in store.
No lift;)
Thats why im tempted. Sainburys bring it to my door, Occado didnt(got it my self) and tescos were bolshy to my wife (holding screaming newborn). I never seem to have the same driver twice though. So sainsburys would get a tip if any was given.0 -
tescos employees are not allowed to take tips0
