bought in summer sale from Bank, after seeing a helpful post on MSE a Pauls Boutique jacket and purse for my 10 year old, should have cost £95 but I only paid £21, so very pleased. Also got quite a few bargains thanks to the Amazon toys bargains thread on grabbit.0

The 3 for 2 and 50% off toiletries at M and S.....not only were they a great bargain for a bag full of stuff, there were 2 free greetings card vouchers in the box when they came which I exchanged for cards that should have been £4.50 each....making my box of goodies virtually free :j0

whilst i'd say this year i've probably bought more full-price or nearly full-price stuff as pressies than i usually do, i have had a couple of really good bargains, all thanks to fellow MSE Bootsers and Grabbit forumites
.
My absolute best bargain (if it works out with cashback as advertised) is a The Hut cardi for OH which cost £19.50, full price £65, and advertised cashback of £20 - so cardi is completely free.
The girls in my family will be getting, among other stuff, a set of S&G make-up each, full price £49.50, price I paid (with voucher combos in Boots) £6.50.
Plus a couple of toiletry sets I picked up on the first day of the 75% Boots sale in January, all paid for in Boots points accumulated through last year.0 -
We tell everybody about the benefits of MSE, and the people this present is for read some forums, so can't be specific...
Saw a great offer on some bargain deal emails but it was still too expensive and the time limits made it impossible as a Christmas present... then remembered all the encouragement on here to haggle. Spent days working up the nerve to ring the company direct and to my surprise it was great! They were really nice and made it easyCame away with a much better deal that worked for Christmas - and came within budget at a third of their normal price :j Thank you MSE!
Couldn't believe it! :j So remember the possibilities of haggling when you're Christmas shopping!0 -
Technically mines more for me than Christmas, but finding the 3 for 2 and 1/3 off online for Sanctuary Spa toiletries at Boots from the Grabbit thread. Got £120 worth of products for £40 plus £12+ of points. I'm one of the few people who doesn't get smellies for Christmas, so nice to get a treat myself. Products I would but at a god price. Thanks to posters.ITV Winners Club Member (106)

Have saved £280 to date on my Xmas shopping by taking advantage of money off codes and vouchers, sales, Black Friday deals and generally shopping around for the best prices online. Some of my best savings have been - cricket bat for my son bought at the end of the summer reduced from £79.99 to £15, hot diamonds necklace for my sister reduced online from £39.99 to £19.99 and then cashed in my £17 loyalty points with them, £10 off £50 Tesco entertainment code (3 presents bought with this deal), Elizabeth Arden perfume from Very for MIL on Black Friday £29.50 rrp bought for £5, football manager 2014 PC game £16.99 from £29.99 on Black Friday at Game.
My husband used to laugh a my 'obsession' to get a discount or use a coupon but he has began to realise that it has helped our family so much and this website is fantastic, it's great to share offers and save money. Using cashback sites like Quidco and topcashback is an added bonus too. Merry Christmas everyone :xmassmile:snow_laug0 -
I bought £80 worth of chocolate for under £25 that should cover everyone. Plus have grown herb and chilli plants for presents, made pickled onions, infused oils and limoncello. My nephews presents were bought during Black Friday so discounted. I bought my mum and mil's presents in the January sale (clinique home and away for a steal). All in have saved hundreds on Christmas without having to do the mad panic shop. Just need to wrap it all now.Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:
