    Im sorry I have been away a while and not here to back DC and MarkyMark up

    The whole problem seems to be that a lot of people have misunderstood the OP, so I have some questions

    1) Did you tell the bank that you had not received the cheque book? We have taken the 'fair enough' to suggest that you had.
    2) Did they say 'OK we will cancel it'? If so, is it any surprise that the cheques are not being honoured as Walletwatch says above

    Clear these points up and we can make a more informed judgement and cool this post down a little
